CREWS LEADER

ROLE DESCRIPTION & REGISTER

Crews exists to provide a space for young people aged 11 to 18 to make friends and build relationships; discover and develop in faith, and provide activities which young people can invite their friends to. This role is to lead a small group of 10 – 15 young people alongside another Crew leader by taking on a level of personal responsibility for the growth and discipleship of the Crew throughout the academic year. Namely through developing relationships with your Crew, modelling an authentic Christian faith, facilitating discussions, prayer and group chats under the guidance of the Youth Pastor.

Time and Location
Wednesday 6:30pm – 9:30pm – Youth Floor, Owen House.
Extra support for young people outside of Wednesday nights Attend other adhoc youth events

Willingness to serve in a fun environment.
Reliable and punctual.
Open to developing skills and trying new things

Anything else:
We want to provide consistency and build relationships within our small groups which is why we ask team to commit to every Wednesday, unless away on holiday or ill. This role requires team members to complete an application, basic safeguarding training and a DBS check.
