We want to create an environment where Deaf guests feel welcomed, included, and able to fully engage with everything happening in the service. Our Sign Language Team helps interpret all of the different elements of the service and build meaningful connections with Deaf guests, enabling them to participate in church life and explore what it means to follow Jesus.
Time and Location
9-11am on Sundays – Halesowen Auditorium
What we’re looking for
BSL level 3
Sign Language experience
Good communication skills
Approachable, friendly, confident and engaging
Comfortable with being in front of an audience and being broadcast online
Open to feedback and willing to grow
Anything else:
Our rotas are adhoc based on your availability, we do however ask that you can give at least once a month to create a consistency of connection and relationship. We may request for you to be available for additional events at Christmas, Easter and Lifecentral Midweek gatherings.
