We are looking for kind, compassionate and caring people who will be able to provide practical, emotional and spiritual support to others who are unable to join small groups or whose needs exceed the capacity of their group.
Time and Location
Flexible, depending on your circumstances. Ideally a minimum of two hours per week including some daytime availability. Ability to travel to various locations is an advantage as some support will need to take place off site.
What we’re looking for
Effective and active listener.
Ability to form supportive relationships with a wide range of people.
Maintain relationships within appropriate boundaries.
Active member of Lifecentral Church community.
A clear basic DBS.
Anything else
Fundamental pastoral care training will be made available.
Support will be provided by the community pastor to include regular team meetings and opportunities to discuss progress, capacity and any developmental needs.
