We are looking for kind, compassionate and caring people who will be able to provide emotional and spiritual support to others who are unable to join small groups or whose needs exceed the capacity of their group.
Time and Location
Flexible, depending on your circumstances. Ideally a minimum of two hours per week including some daytime availability.
What we’re looking for
Effective and active listeners.
Ability to form supportive relationships with a wide range of people.
Capacity to maintain relationships within appropriate boundaries.
An active member of Lifecentral Church community with a growing relationship with Jesus for more than 3 years.
A clear basic DBS.
Previous pastoral experience and/or willingness to complete pastoral care training depending on level of previous qualification and experience.
Anything else
‘Building blocks in pastoral care’ training will be made available.
Support will be provided by the community pastor to include regular team meetings and opportunities to discuss progress, capacity and any developmental needs.
