The aim of the Bereavement Journey Team is to assist those bereaved to consider and process the impact of a death whether recent or long ago using the Bereavement Journey Course materials.
Time and Location
This course is 7 sessions long each session lasts for 2 hours. Time is required for set up and preparation.
What we’re looking for
Compassionate and welcoming individuals who have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Prior experience of facilitating small group discussion encouraging sharing and listening.
Some experience or knowledge of bereavement preferable but the key attribute is compassion for bereaved people and the desire to support them in their grief journey.
Availability, emotional capacity, to lead a group.
Commitment to participating in pre-course training
