A range of 6-week courses for everyone who serves God through the provision of pastoral care with others. These interactive programs give space to share experiences, be inspired by others and grow in ministry, including supportive prayer and personal reflection. Courses will support the development of firm foundations for effective ministry in pastoral care and enable those with prior experience to develop their skills.
Time and Location
Courses will run for 6 weeks and facilitators will be expected to attend every session. Once the group is launched the commitment is anticipated to be approx. 4 hours per week, including preparation time for the duration of the course.
What we’re looking for
An active member of Lifecentral Church community with a growing relationship with Jesus.
Previous experience of small group facilitation.
Have the time, emotional capacity and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries in order to lead healthy groups.
Facilitate meetings, monitoring group health for its duration, and promoting participation amongst members.
A commitment to engage in leadership development opportunities.
Anything else:
Completion of relevant pastoral training course as an individual prior to group leadership.
Support will be provided to include team meetings and opportunities to discuss progress, capacity and any developmental needs.
