SMALL GROUP LEADER

Time and Location
Small groups meet on average twice a month, leaders will be expected as far as possible to attend all meetings and to engage in group facilitation and pastoral support activities. The time commitment for this role is anticipated to be approx. 3 hours per week.

What we’re looking for
People who have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ (preferably for two years or more).
Have community group experience (ideally).
Have the time, emotional capacity and moral discernment to lead a group.
Facilitating of group meetings, monitoring its health and duration, and promoting participation among group members.
Commitment to engaging in leadership development opportunities provided by the church.
Recognise the influence associated with group leadership.

Anything else:
Fundamental pastoral care training will be made available.
Support will be provided by the community pastor to include regular team meetings and opportunities to discuss progress, capacity and any developmental needs.
